Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 August 2026
What these terms cover
They cover the Sakura Bot Discord application and this website. Adding the bot to a server, or using its commands, means you accept them. If you do not, remove it.
Using the bot
By adding Sakura Bot to a server or using its commands, you agree to these terms.
Fair use
Don't:
- Break the Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
- Spam or automate commands.
- Abuse bugs to gain kakera or characters.
- Put illegal or abusive text into bot inputs.
Virtual items
Kakera, characters and levels have no real-world value. They can't be cashed out or sold for money.
Third-party data
Anime, manga and character data comes from AniList. All rights to the works shown belong to their respective owners.
Availability
The bot is free and provided as-is. Features may change or stop at any time, and there's no guarantee of uptime or that your collection is kept.
Moderation features
Moderation commands only work inside your own server and require Discord permissions. Server staff are responsible for how they're used. The content filters are rule-based — they miss things and can produce false positives. Image content is not checked.
Liability
Use at your own risk. No liability for downtime, data loss, missed notifications or moderation mistakes, as far as the law allows.
Changes
These terms may change. The current version is always on this page.
Privacy
What is not stored
No message content. Messages are read as they arrive to award XP, count spawns and apply filters — the text itself is never saved. No usernames, no avatars, no email addresses.
What is stored
Only Discord IDs and the numbers the features need:
- IDs — your user ID and the server ID
- Levels — XP and level
- Kakera — balance and last daily claim
- Collection — claimed characters, rarity, value, date
- Gacha — rolls used and last claim time
- Trades — the two user IDs, items and status
- Watchlist — tracked anime IDs and last notified episode
- Warnings — user ID, moderator ID, reason and date
Per server: the settings from the config commands, plus the channel and role IDs you pick.
Third parties
- Discord — the bot runs on their platform.
- AniList — queried for anime and character data. No user data is sent, only titles and IDs.
Deleting your data
- Warnings: a moderator can run
/warnings clear. - Everything else: removing the bot from the server stops all processing for that server.
Age
Discord has its own minimum age (13+ in most countries). Sakura Bot is not aimed at anyone below it.
Changes
This page is updated when the bot's features change. The current version is always here.
Cookies
None
This site sets no cookies. No tracking, no analytics, no ad networks, no social embeds. That's also why there's no cookie banner — there'd be nothing to consent to.
What the page does
Static HTML, CSS, one small script and an SVG. The script only builds the
Discord invite link, filters the command list and sets the year in the
footer. It stores nothing — no cookies, no
localStorage, no sessionStorage.
Hosting logs
Like any website, the host processes connection data (IP address, time, requested file, browser) to serve the page. That happens at the hosting provider, not through cookies here.
External links
"Add to your server" goes to discord.com, where Discord's own cookie and privacy rules apply.
The bot
Cookies are a browser thing and don't apply to the bot on Discord. What it stores is under Privacy below.
Licence and source
The bot's source is on GitHub under the licence stated there. Running your own copy is allowed on those terms.
No warranty
Sakura Bot is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. There is no promise that it is available, that it keeps working, or that collected items and levels survive a fault.
Trademarks and affiliation
An independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord Inc. or the rights holders of any series referenced by card artwork. All trademarks remain with their owners.
